I am Rowell B. Timoteo, 39 years old, government employee and currently employed at the Provincial Government of La Union - Public Employment Service Office as Labor & Employment Officer II who ventured in the field of photography as a hobby. In 2017, i bought my first camera, the Fuji XA10, and got hooked in macro photography. In 2020, my perspective slowly shifting in street photography. January of 2020, I took my first workshop/seminar of the veteran photo journalist and street photographer, Mr. Luis Liwanag, the Wide open Wide Open Streets Workshops on Street Photography. When the Covid-19 Pandemic hit our lives, during the community quarantine and lock downs, i started studying street photography at home. Studying the art of capturing life, human interest and people and it deepens my passion to become an able hobbyist in photography. On October of 2021, a veteran street photographer, Mr. Jose Miguel Lisbona, saw my photos in the Street Walkers Philippines, a facebook group for street photography enthusiasts. He reached out and offered me a once in a lifetime privilege of learning the art of street photography for three months. Up to now, he still guides me in my street photography journey and my interest in minimalist photography also grown.
