Fotomoto’s first iteration would be a multi-site invitational series of exhibitions that focused on portraits. Each exhibition venue offered a different atmosphere and unique curatorial direction providing each of its 128 participating artists a platform to shine.
The largest annual photography exhibition in the Philippines is looking for photos about the spaces we inhabit, altered by the pandemic.
Last November 20, Manila-based photographers’ collective FotomotoPH, together with Shutterspace Studios, Inc, and the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Arts Management program, launched Fotomoto ‘21 Invitational: Portraits, a multi-venue exhibit showcasing talent in the realm of visual arts.
The photography collective Fotomoto is now accepting submissions for this year’s edition, “Fotomoto22: Home”. FotomotoPH organizes the largest annual photography exhibition in the Philippines. The show travels to different regions and is accompanied by talks, workshops, portfolio reviews and other programs.
Fotomoto is a photography collective founded by a team of vibrant visionaries who see a bright and bold future for this art form in the country.
