I chanced upon this man slicing a rotten jackfruit using an opened tin can while sitting on a discarded bed at the garbage dump called Smokey Mountain in Manila in 1987. Despite the sad situation you can still see the man smiling and enjoying his "breakfast" or meal for the day.
