Photo #4 is an image of paternal grandmother looking into a mirror as she dyes her hair black. Looking through her reflection made me realise how she's one of the reasons why I have a home in Manila. Somehow, her reflection made me think of my reflection and how these reflections are interconnected by an invisible link forged by blood and time or something beyond. She was the tree, and I was one of the fruits of a specified generation.
